Need training?
BSSA has received a number of requests from small business owner-managers who want to attend training on a specific topic or skill in their area.
BSSA training courses can be accessed in various ways:
1. You can apply to be selected for a course (usually a one- or two-day intervention) advertised either in our newsletter or on our website (see Upcoming Courses on the home page). These courses are usually sponsored by a third party, for example the local government. Contact the person indicated in the advertisement.
2. BSSA’s training methodology works best with 15 to 25 learners. It is thus advisable for you to try and get a group together. If your group wants training on a specific module, the cost is R350 per person per day, including the training materials used during the course.
3. A third option is for you to find someone to sponsor the training, for example a company in your area wishing to spend CSI funds or obtain Enterprise Development (BEE scorecard) points. For further details, contact Elize Bezuidenhout or Mazo Mahlangu on 012 349 1777.
