Enterprise Development

Claim your enterprise development points

Enterprise development is one of the seven elements of Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) and carries 15 points on the BBBEE score card.

The main aim of enterprise development is to create sustainable small enterprises which will in turn create jobs and grow the country’s wealth.

Recent surveys of companies’ scorecards conducted by the financial press have revealed that enterprise development is one of the areas where companies do not score well. Part of what your company can do to claim the BBBEE score card points, is to provide business skills training to the management and/or staff of the small enterprises that are targeted by the BBBEE Act.

Offering training to these small enterprises has been BSSA’s core business since 1992.
