PROCESS Training Programme: NQF Level 5

BSSA, in partnership with InWent (previously CDG) and APDF offers an advanced
Business Adviser Training Programme called PROCESS.
The nine--week course consists of the following modules:

• Business Planning Skills
• Market Assessment Skills
• Technical Assessment Skills
• Financial Assessment Skills
• Enterprise Appraisal Skills
• Business Advising Skills
• Enterprise Monitoring Skills
• Enterprise Rehabilitation Skills

5.1.2.2 Build-a-Better Business Programme:

A further training intervention which BSSA offers to business advisers is the Build-a-Better-Business (BBB).

This training programme is designed to train advisers in the use of the following tools, which together make up the BBB Toolkit:

• Tips for Effective Management
• Preparing for the Assignment
• Overview Health Check
• Interpretation of Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats
• Critical Issues Determinants

• Franchise Awareness (FRAIN / NAMAC)
• Project Management (mainly for construction SMMEs)
• Practical Tendering Skills
• How to manage the impact of HIV/AIDS on a business
